Orwell’s classic cautionary tale is the story of one man's struggle against the ubiquitous, menacing state power (“Big Brother”) that tries to dictate nearly every aspect of human life. Working in the Ministry of Truth, Winston Smith meets Julia, who seems to share his doubts. Together, they plot against the totalitarian regime, but is Julia really what she seems to be? As relevant today as when it was first published.
