How You Can Help!
Please see below for more information regarding the areas that you can help in and to let us know those you may be interested in. Each show is different, and though some tasks, such as doing tickets remain essentially the same from show to show, other categories require varying amounts of time. Please email us with your name and the areas you are interested or willing to assist in!
Designing Crew
Costume Designer
Designs and/or coordinates costumes for actors - works with the Director's design and vision
Lighting Designer
Designs lighting looks for scenes and the entire show - works with the Director's design and vision
Props Master
Designs and/or coordinates props for actors - works with the Director's design and vision
Scenic Designer
Designs the look and design of the set - works with the Director's design and vision
Sound Designer
Designs and/or coordinates sounds and/or effects - works with the Director's design and vision
Production Crew
Carpenter
Constructs the set, by building and/or using stock pieces - works with the Set Designer's design and vision
Electrician
Hangs and positions lights, runs cable, etc. - works with the Lighting Designer's design and vision
Scenic Artist
Paints and/or designs the newly built set - works with the Set Designer's design and vision
Set Dresser
Decorates the set, to bring it to life - works with the Set Designer's design and vision
Performance Crew
Lighting Operator
Operates and runs lighting board - setup by Lighting Designer
Run Crew
Assist on-stage with the moving of props, set pieces or helps actors with scene changes
Sound Operator
Operates and runs sound board - setup by Sound Designer
Stage Manager
Keeps track of actors, props, blocking and anything else assigned by the Director (must attend all rehearsals and shows)
Box Office
Greets patrons, collects money, checks reservations, sells tickets - a one night commitment, will be trained
Usher
Greet patrons, issue program, offer to take coat, usher to a seat, serve drinks at intermission, etc. - a one night commitment, will be trained
